SGC Application

Hi all

 

Hoping to apply for my SGC in the new year, But I'm a bit confused on who can be a countersignature.

 

I know that it says something about an MP and the like. Could a friend who I have known for four years sign it. He is a SGC & FAC holder and well established with the GWCT.

Despite the wording on the application (which is being opened up by many forces now) anyone of "good standing" that has known you long enough will do!

Yep, Deker's solved that for you

 

Anyone who has known you well for over two years and is of "Good Standing" is just fine.

 

And seen as it takes a lot of checks and Balances to gain FAC's and SGC's, then I would say a holder of either is of good standing.

Also would I be right in thinking that

 

1. I don't have to have a cabinet straight away? (Although it will cause hassle.)

 

2. I can send my application forms by Special Delivery?

You don't have to have a cabinet no, you can wait until the FEO has been to see you and if he says go ahead, then thats your queue to get one fitted.

 

You can send them Special if you want, Recorded is more the norm, there's always someone in Police HQ's to sign for them

mate i got the go ahead for my teacher to sign mine she said its not a problem. not still in school are you..
