Dave C 63
I always like to hunt the river bank as you never know what those keen little bushing dogs will push out. Nice cold winters afternoon with Whippet Boy and my young lad, we only had my 3 and WB's Border out due to age and bitches in season, but all dogs worked well. Fudge Posing The first catch. Paddy takes one in the woods doing very well in quite thick cover. Pip working well as always Another 1 in the bag for Paddy My tough little Lad enjoying the Hunt and never bothered about the cold. Hunting a line Ending in another catch Ted loves the thick cover WB and my lad ice skating Last catch of the day End of day A nice afternoon's sport in great company, then off to the pub to discuss the days action. Dave C 63
Excellent pics, good write-up but bloody hell, looks cold up there today mate Mackem, not as cold as the weekend before, we were up the Fell We took 17 rabbits and was a great few hours, it was a good test for young Fudge as we only had 3 dogs up there (normally have 6 -9 dogs out) and i wanted to see how she handled all the scent. But she kept her head and did very well, WB's Border did well as usual and Paddy loves this kind of ground it suits him to a tee. Dave. Quote Link to post
