bill88 6
Im a big fan of Ricky, but i wouln't give him a chance against Pacquiao. At 140lbs Pacquiao would be unbeatable as far as im concerned. Not only does he have one of the greatest brains in boxing, but he also has superb movement, speed, and devastating power.Im sure the build up and promotion would be spectacular if they did meet, but i can see Ricky getting beaten badly and then stopped. Mind you i'm sure Amir Khan would beat Pacquiao no problem.

zap 4
i think Pacquiao would be to good for hatton the guy made oscar look silly i think hatton has the beating of oscar but Pacquiao might be to much for him
gnasher16 30,597
Never been a big hatton fan myself...but styles make fights and i believe hatton certainly has the style to cause pacquaio problems...if this fight does go ahead id give hatton a decent chance although i think his conditioning could let him down over a distance fight which it would probably be. Cant see a fight between an englishman and a filipino taking place in america.....just hope hatton doesnt hype the fight the way he normally does....hopefully he will just get his nut down and prepare properly. TRUE SAXON 108
I wouldn't say pacquiao has a great boxing brain he's been an out and out brawler through his career and that could be his downfall against hatton if he trys to brawl with hatton and leaves his body open hatton could really hurt him with his body punches but whatever happens there is no dout this could be an all time great fight and it will take place in america because there is too much money in the fight and thats what hattons after at this stage of his career
thurso jack 3
How many would have given the pacman a chance before the fight with de la hoya? not many, oscar is too old for the game now and offered nothing back to pacman, something hatton for sure would, if hatton fights him at his lower weight and in this country then id give hatton more than a sporting chance!! Oscar is not the fighter he was and he doesnt need the money, imo if the had fought even 2-3 years ago oscar would have fnished him with no problems, but he couldnt even muster a decent combo on him . Hatton v pacman has the makings of a superb figt and if ricky continues to flourish under mayweather snr and look after himself a bit better then i can seriuosly see him giving pacman problems with his body shots and power, its a fight i would love to see, but i wouldnt bet a penny on it as it really could go anyway! bill88 6
Just to clarify a point,Hatton is not a concussive puncher and never has been,he usually grinds down his opponents and that wont happen against Pacquiao.Sure he works well to the body and is usally active for 12 rounds, but Pacquiao is a proven knockout artist.Everyone has there own ideas of how a fight will turn out and my view is that if Ricky trys to stand toe to toe with Pacquiao he'll get ko'd.As for predictions on the Pacquiao v De La Hoya fight, i thought Oscar would stop Pacquiao and that if he never it would get interesting. P.S im a Ricky fan.

Guest blackntan
At light welter i would give ricky more than a punchers chance , paqi is outstanding at lightwelter and throws a higher rate of shots but at light welter i think ricky could just nick it think he has one big fight left in him wont be easy thou
