cbw 4
I have the Deben 'field and stream' trousers and jacket with hat, gloves and t shirt all in Hardwoods Green. I must say after getting over how everyone laughed at me, it makes a huge difference out in the field, I have had deer and foxes almost stand on me!!!!!! CBW I really like the quality, drawstring trousers, comfort etc I cannot recommend the enough!!! Edited December 7, 2008 by cbw Quote Link to post
Guest air gunner
If you really want to take it far get a ghillie suit they are also really warm which would be great for the winter. My friend has one and once positioned you literally mistake him for a bush unbelievable. they are probably classed as cheating the game has no chance NOT for air rifle hunting i think. Deker 3,478
Whatever works for you on your land and at what time of year.... ALL camo is simply disruptive pattern material (DPM) and has an awful lot of varieties. What so many people forget though is skin, commonly hands and face....stand under a pigeon flight path wearing the best camo in the world and look up without any cover on your face, and watch them all turn off at 90degrees!! The closer you are, or want to get to quarry the better your camo will need to be...so it is commonly quite important at air rifle ranges! Orange or Yellow Hi Fiz shouldn't cause too much problem on a 200-300yard deer (as long as the wind is in your face)!! Quote Link to post

cbw 4
Do have a look at the Deben field and stream first, there is a link at the top of this thread, I am so pleased with mine for the value and quality, I was actually quite shocked how good they are! Also go for a matching long sleeve 't' shirt so you can undo/remove the jacket if you get hot. Gloves and lightweight balaclava are also important, I bought mine as a pair in matching hardwoods green from e bay. CBW Quote Link to post
