on-point 0 Posted December 14, 2008 Report Share Posted December 14, 2008 as has been said above the use of shotguns is generally not regarded as the most humane method o dispatch but they can be remarkably effective - i was on a deer drive in april last year and all of us used shotguns, no slugs just BB to AAA. if you get the right stand and work out the runs etc then you can topple them effectively. seven of us had 14 in a morning - great fun and did a very helpful job for the tennant farmes.
