Deker 3,478
Just purchased new SAK moderator for my .22 r/f, seems a well built bit of kit Would it be safe to use on my Hornet I'm not sure but I suspect not, have a word with the importers... http://www.jacksonrifles.com/ They suggest 10,000 rounds through the SAK for a HMR (not sure I agree) but the Hornet has a LOT more grunt than a HMR!! Mr_Logic 5
Don't use a Sak on a Hornet. The pressure of even that lowly CF will damage it/blow it to bits. Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
Don't use a Sak on a Hornet. The pressure of even that lowly CF will damage it/blow it to bits. You would think so wouldn't you...that's why it surprised me more than a little bit a couple of years ago when a certain RFD suggested a SAK for my .223....I did decline his offer!!! Deker 3,478
Oh God, that wouldn't be the one the other side of town near the traffic lights now would it Good call...I'd have said that one every time as well...BUT..it was actually the one over Pangbourne way, that had a larger branch in Wales, and stuffed the world for around £50Million!
