Malt 379
If you've got windows xp, you can move the mouse pointer over the clock, right click it & choose 'adjust date/time'

Rainmaker 7
It IS possible, you just didn't have quite the correct 'code' for the Regional settings. In that 'Time' settings tab (under Regional Language Settings in Control Panel in XP), change whatever's listed in the time format box to: h:mm:ss tt Which will give you h (12 hour format hour):(minutes past/to the hour):seconds past the minute: am/pm Done

Rainmaker 7
I'm using Fedora 10 (Linux) at the moment, so I'll have to go from memory. If you hit any hurdles, it should be pretty easy to work out what/where I mean even if you're totally new to Windows... if not just post back and I'll fire up an XP box and grab you some screenshots etc. 1) Click the Start button. 2) Click Control Panel (on the right side of the menu). If there is no Control Panel entry, go back to the Desktop (i.e. close the Start menu) and double click My Computer. Then click the Control Panel link in the window/box that pops up. 3) Once in the Control Panel, double click Regional & Language Settings. 4) Click the Time tab (third along the top, iirc). 5) Change the Time Format by deleting what's in there now (probably something like HH:mm) and entering h:mm:ss tt in its place (space after ss and before tt). 6) Click APPLY then OK. You may or may not need to reboot for the change to take effect. Good luck
