mouse 282 Posted December 7, 2008 Report Share Posted December 7, 2008 every cover around here holds munties and roe.only got terriers so they are quite safe.bloody things run everywhere when out with hounds.got put on my ass a few weeks back by a roe making a sharp exit from a cover.kids laughed for about an hour.wondered what the f**k had hit me. What neck of the woods is that in frank? i heard about a year ago that some fella up the country realised a few but i didnt think there was much truth attached to it.... but there must have bein... they spread like wild fire supposedly.. AKA-BRINDLE 879 Posted December 7, 2008 Report Share Posted December 7, 2008 Been seeing a few around here just lately, anyone else noticed an increase in numbers on their doorstep ..... yes...the land around the norfolk broads is infested with em!. them and chinese water deer (find it hard to tell the differance between the two at times)...roe numbers are up around here too was just saying to a mate that my dogs have flushed and ran em twice this weekend (good job my bitch has good recall)...heard some one on the radio say theres more deer in this country now than there was 1000 years ago! (think i heard that right?!) certainly numbers have dramatically increased round here in the last 40 years Quote Link to post Share on other sites
