gamo whisper

Not very good air rifles, what you see in the vids is not what you get, my friend bought one and with in the 8weeks of having it he had to spend just over £150 re-fixing it and with only 2000 pellets through it.

Cant understand your mate, if I had a rifle from any maker and it broke within 8 weeks I would have taken it back to the dealer and let the guarantee sort it out,,, as for the Gamo whisper being no good I would have to disagree with you,, unless you have had one of these rifles your self I think its hard to make a qualified opinion. for the money they take some beating, and a bit of tweaking on the trigger and you have one very capable rifle, this is one of mine Ive detuned it to 14.5 FPE, changed the trigger, and filled the stock for more weight and this is the kind of accuracy I get with it, and I'm no marksman,, for rabbit and vermin shooting with a legal limit rifle in the UK you cant go wrong, these shots were all at twenty metres in a slight wind,, this is only my opinion, hope this helps,

He didnt bother with the guarantee or taking back to the shop, he though he could fix it himself spend the money on the rifle.

There,s a lesson to be learnt there bud,, if you ain't capable of the fix get to someone who is, I would have been fuming with the dealer mate,, it sounds to me as if your mate bought a wrong-en, and it happens Ive had one or two over the years,, all the best,,
