A good day ruined

After being out with hounds this morning, my partner and i went for a dig this afternoon, dropped my dog in the first spot ( 6 holer) and within seconds the dog barked once then grabbed hold.

very easy earth, and dug him with two backed up in the stop end, only 3 ft from the entrance, and 3inch of water laying in the tube ! 0.4 on the box

we dealt with the two of them, and dropped the dog back in, 30 secs later one bolted and went back into a hole about 10 yards away, this too had 3 inch of water laying in it, my dog came out to follow it, and i scooped him up and let another young dog in, 10 mins later and we have our third.

 

its about 3.30pm now and i wanted another dig to my dog so we went to our saving grace, a 12 hole place thats about 50,60 yards across, now this place always holds and has never let us down, ideal for young dogs only 2-3 ft in depth big tubes and plenty of stop ends.

 

Some prick had beat us too it, 6 holes had been sunk, and two of them trenched out 5-6 ft long, and feck all had been back filled with the quarry clearly on show still in the tube and shot in the tube with a 3 1/2" 12 bore twice !!!!!! and the cartridges left on top.

 

a fantastic earth completly ruined !!!! YOU FECKING PRICKS

no how you feel mate went to a farm i hunt on about three weeks ago .Got to holes and it was totally wrecked could nt belive it taught i was the only person digging the land .So we pushed on to the puppy holes and the were wrecked to holes opened every were.First class wankers

im afraid it happens in most areas ,young lads come into the game try their hand at lamping(glorified ps 2 game ) kill owt that moves ,piss the farmers off to the extent of blocking all the entrances off to their land.

then(bored) they move on to doin a bit of terrier work ,find on the local grapevine where all the local drains /earths are,then proceed to smash/trench ,obliturate them !

im sure this is just a minority,and im sure most lads that are genuinly into feild sports have heard such a tale

ps had some cracking local drains that we had worked succesfully for25 years obliterated a few yrs back.
