out ferreting today with ONION BOY

went out ferreting today with my mte aka onion ... we got to the first set about 8am it was about 15 holer .. we neted up and put one of my new collares on one of my jills she keped on coming up and back down again knocking all the nets down because of the collar and after about 10 mins she was down still nothink .. and then she come up with out her collar on and we had to dig 4ft to get the stupid thing .. i thought i put it on tight enough guess i dident though after that happen dident even use the locator any more that day ... anywayz after we dug down to the collar and got it out my mate dan put his jill down and after about 5 mins yes one in the net but then loads of people come over playing football making loads of nose .. so we moved to a diffrent destination .. we found this little 9 holer look well good loads of rabbits shit out side the holes etc but after trying out all our ferrets nothink bolted the little buggers must of not been home ...then my mates dan girlfriend brang us a maccy d's she done really well anywayz then we went to this other set the biggest one iv done in my life so fare 50 holer but there was pegs holes on them so some one got there before us but we still thought it was worth ago ... anywayz my 2 jills bolted 2 in the net .. then nothink else bolted . anywayz then we done a 12 holer got 1 out of that ... .. then we called it a day it wasent a big bag today only 4 but still had a good time heres a couple pic of our day out ... dident get a end of the day shot because dns girlfriend took one of the rabbits home before we finished

well done mate are the collars nylon or the leather ones if nylon try changing them to leather ones take it uve got the knack of using the mk3 seen as you found the collar :wacko:

cheers mate there leather ones mate yer thay aint hard to use really easy i think but i dont think there even that good to tell the truth .. it was doing my head in because the ferret was knocking down all the nets because of the collar after that i dident use it all day .. im probly just gonna use it when im on my own so i know where the ferrets are

you payed for it so mite as well use it will save you time when the ferrets lay up it just takes time for the ferrets to get used to them too will help u get more rabbits eventuly

Thats what i said to him today but apparently brads ferrets are professional ferrets that dont lay up lol yeah it wasnt a bad day and nice weather and mcdonalds thanks all Dan,Aka onion.Or spring.

you just need to get them used to the collars mate. Once they have had them on a few trips they will realize how wide they are. I have a derby tweed flatcap, and i love it lol

Booyakasha Brad,nice one homey Just make sure you put them collars on tight & don't worry about the fert protesting it's suprising how tight you need to get them.Least you worked that Mcdonalds off with that dig Good photo's as well
