Kay 3,709
Had a lovely afternoon out , saw some partridges bu couldnt get the camera out quick enough we went in search of red deer but only found poo & fooprints (assume there reds) Then we walked across 2 fields & bumped into a chap & his Harris hawk which was great to see, he said it was 8 month old, dont know what sex it was though he told us where he had seen the reds earlier but i was knackered & didnt want to treck a few more miles over fields so we started to make or way back Stopping for a nose round in his new coat ( yes its sheepskin & totally useless in the rain) Madge looking lovely enjoing the sunshine Licking his chops he spotted a duck in the pond Just watching the swan trying to get on the ice All in all a lovely few hrs then on he way home up the woods this bloke came towards us with a small cross breed dog OFF the lead , both our dogs were pulled to one side ON there leads & in the blink of an eye this silly man yelled his dog from some 20 feet away instead of going to the dog well the little dog got to close to the new greyhound & he got hold of it , luckly he didnt hurt it & i was annoyed as the bloke said my dogs should be put down now Oh well he will have to remember next time not to break the law & have his dog on a lead wont he

Oh naturally the bloke was flapping but to be honest he didnt like being asked if i could photograph the injurys that the dog had as a result of being picked up by the greyhound , he knew he was wrong & i wasnt backing down untill i made my point , i now know the dog isnt keen on small dogs so we all learned a lesson
