Then we walked across 2 fields & bumped into a chap & his Harris hawk which was great to see, he said it was 8 month old, dont know what sex it was though

All in all a lovely few hrs then on he way home up the woods this bloke came towards us with a small cross breed dog OFF the lead , both our dogs were pulled to one side ON there leads & in the blink of an eye this silly man yelled his dog from some 20 feet away instead of going to the dog  well the little dog got to close to the new greyhound & he got hold of it , luckly he didnt hurt it & i was annoyed as the bloke said my dogs should be put down now

Oh well he will have to remember next time not to break the law & have his dog on a lead wont he :)

thats happened to me many times, one of my terriers is sharp when he is on a lead,i tell people when there dog comes up to us but they dont listen,it frustrates the hell out of me.great pictures as well kay.

Oh naturally the bloke was flapping but to be honest he didnt like being asked if i could photograph the injurys that the dog had as a result of being picked up by the greyhound , he knew he was wrong & i wasnt backing down untill i made my point , i now know the dog isnt keen on small dogs so we all learned a lesson

i dont know the law about all this just that i have been told that dogs should be under controll in public places,my dog is fine off a lead with others just on a lead he hates big dogs for some strange reason.sounds like you handled things th right way by threatening to take pictures though, sounds stupid but it covers yourself in this day and age!

ha ha! you gotta watch them greyhounds kay every one knows their evil and will attack at the drop of a hat!

i never understood why its to much effort for people to hold their dog when they meet some one else out walking!
