Have spent the last week trying to get hold of one of these

 

Have also been looking at the possibility of getting something similar made up, but by the time you take into account prototype costs and short run manufacture then £130 each starts to look reasonable.

 

Have had one in my paw, they are dead light.

optics warehouse have them i think they are £117 plus postage

iv had a night out with one using the blitz i gave the lamp some serious use and the battery was still going strong at the end of the night im just now waiting for mine to arrive they are so light what a difference the price is the only down side apart from that a good battery

The 12v 10amp is approx half the weight off a 12v 7amp...!!.. very impressed..they dont give any indication when battery is running flat though.

 

Eg.. lamp working fine one second , then nothing..

how many hours you recon to get? 3-4 hrs with a lightforce 170 would this sound right. using a double belt pack at the moment x 2 7amp packs

Been looking around comparing prices for Li Ion battery packs, at £130 the Deben 10A/h isn't badly priced at all by comparison to some of these ...........

im dying to get one of these but am waiting for some feed back off them. imagine if they made a 20amp belt battery pack out of them, from what ive been told already it would be lighter than a 7amp battery. maybe next season.

That's exactly the plan mate, am trying to source the cells to make them, at present they will work out at about 700 quid ..............

i may have my maths wrong..... but a 12volt 100watt bulb will pull 8.3 amps???? wont so will a 10ah battery give out just over 1 hour constant light?
