FOXHUNTER 5,021 Posted April 5, 2006 Report Share Posted April 5, 2006 An old gentleman I know has just gained some stalking ground but is very inexperienced , he has only shot about a dozen deer and never gralloched any. He asked me if I could accompany him to get a buck and show him the proper gralloching technique. We had only been on the ground about 5 minutes when I spotted a good buck which the old man duly shot Quite a good head I think After showing him how to gralloch the beast and check for signs of disease we carried on in search of another. Luckily a buck jumped out of a wood to about 70 yards from where we were laying in wait .........No 2 was grassed , all in all a very successful evening Quote Link to post
