well i checked my snares this morning and nbothing but it was a hard frost last night.

Probably the worst two weekends we'll get all winter, so keep at it, it'll get better. ian. Use the time you have till next weekend, reading snaremans articles which are pinned at the top. you won't find better advice anywhere, that's anywhere. The guy is the master.

You won't get rabbits running far during a hard frost........so possibly try again when the cold spell is over. Like all trapping..........the weather plays a big part in getting a successful outcome. It's all a learning exercise so keep at it and remember......."There is no short-cut to obtaining experience"

alec yu can read all day and all nite but you have to go out and try it , snareing and nets is the oldest method of entrapment , and long before my time old guys were doing it my inlaws in suffolk snared netted rabbs before mixi , pre 53 gone now and all along the scottish borders there were rabbit trappers mole trappers , they used snares traps and were very succsesful, so without reading to much you can surely catch a few rabbits mate , hope u get on , you want to try snareing a fish with gaffin one hand torch and in four feet of water thtas hard snareing or running a wood with roe and catching them , hope you get on
