shoot over ferrets ? i used to in the past lay about a dozen nets then shoot the rest just wanted to know if anyone still does it if so what gun do you use

I do if Im out with my dad, we use shotguns, He doesnt keep ferrets, just does shooting, so when Im out with him we shoot them, It makes a nice change & seems a lot less work not putting on nets each time! Not as god to eat though

It depends who im with, if im on my own, then just nets sometimes dogs depending who else comes. But When im with my mate Ant, then he shoots over quite a bit with a 12 bore.

We are going back tommorrow to finish a farm my sons going to purse net the fields and in going to shoot the hedges and rough bits with my 12 bore though

i net and shoot with the ferrets, i bolt the areas which is difficult to net and shoot them with a 12 bore,
