Two For the Pot

Recommended Posts

Well I thought we were going ratting tonight but plans were changed at the last minute. My mate decided to take myself and another lad for a shoot on a 50 acre piece of farm land. The rabbits were a little bit skitish and slightly lamp shy but all the same we managed a good couple each.

I had these two at around 50 yards with nice clean head shots, I did hit a couple more but they dived into the hedges and died so I would say the pot would have been bigger. My two buddies had at least 2-3 each but only carried home a couple for themselves. For me it was dark and I was on new land which my mate has now given to me only to shoot as he has too much land to shoot on. It's nice to know that this is my bag from now on as the farmer say's "there's bloody hundreds of the little twats and I want them cleared!"

I will not shoot the crap out of this plot of land but will definately maintain a weekly to fortnightly presence here, and in the summer it will be my little haven as the farmer says they are over run with the little twats so I've got guaranteed rabbit stew :D

Anyway these 2 little fookers below are now in the slow cooker on a bed of onions, carrots and seasoning etc for tomorrow nights tea B)

Cheers Ferretville it's really nice to know that no one else will shoot this little plot so I'll always have something to shoot all year round. As we all know if to many shooters hit a piece of land the bunnies get wise and just move on to a field that you probably don't have permission on

nice going time lord very nice machine you got there :clapper::clapper::clapper:

Thanks buddy ;) I've just made it even more silent now with an AWT moderator fitted on it, I think it looks really smart and even more aggressive. But most of all it's twice as quiet as as the original Theoben vortex silencer..
