i was a member of the rspb from a kid up to my early 20s again a once well meaning organization has been slowly taken over by the loonys , my first encounter was as a kid a slimbridge wildfowl trust , you know who started that and he was a true sportsman/conservationist , years later in north wales an incident made me change my mind , there is a nesting site for little turns which is the most important site in Europe for this bird they have all ways been there any way the rspb every year put a barrier around the site to stop the public walking thru dogs etc , usually very successful not on this occasion , a kestrel set up home in a nearby water tower had a clutch a proceeded to wreak havoc on the little little turns chicks that is , what to do went up the cry , all manner of things were tried as the kes chick got fat and the terns got less , shoot the kes i commented one day as i always have a look when down that beach, shock horror came the reply , theres loads of kessys mate not many little turns , there protected by law came the reply , yep tell the kes that so are the terns says me , shoot the kes go to the nest take the chics hand rear them bobs your anty mate, no way says he and walks off , any way no terns that year except in the caravan club up the road, they have no idea of culling to save a more endangered bird and blame every one but them selves for the demise of certain species ah well

it is the same round crimdon dean north east with the little terns barn owls eating them they love to complain but do nowt to stop them foxs eating them but nowt done about them. but maybe i am crule couse i dont care if you carnt eat it them let something else eat it is my moto. if the rspb dont care why should i.i dont pay them to care the people that pay them should be the ones to ask why nowt being done to help the little terns not me.

They have some brilliant reserves and unlike the RSPCA are concerned with habitat preservation and as such have a slightly more realistic outlook than the average bambi/tree huggers.

Well what alot of people do not know,,Is that the RSPB,,Controlls fox and avian predators on its reserves to protect wildlife ,,But still hypocritcal assholes,,Same as RSCPA and all that wankshite.
