ferret boy charlie 0 Posted December 4, 2008 Report Share Posted December 4, 2008 hi all i have finally puasuaded my mum to let me get a bird but what shall i get ? my mum sad she likes the look of goshawks but i said that threre not ideal for a first bird i need a bird that can take hares and rabbits and is not too hard too train im thinking harris hawk but male or female ? any advice appreciated Quote Link to post
Albidus 0 Posted December 4, 2008 Report Share Posted December 4, 2008 If you want to fly hares successfully then a female red tail would be your best bet. A male of any species other than an eagle is not a viable option for hares.
