alaunte 12
Why did you take it that i was insinuating you were biging up your dogs.i re read my post just to make sure it didnt look like that. Now I knew what I meant, evidently you didnt see my line of thinking.I was speaking to my mate during the week and was complimenting the bulls you have developed.I KNOW NOTHING OF YOUR DOGS EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT THEY LOOK THE BIZ.When I was digging flat out years ago there was ONLY 1 option in my area, move to a dog that Could still do the job.I have no doubt there were some bulls somewhere working but I was not in a position to go trapsing all over the country to get a working english bull,my first commitment were my terriers.I always worked a bull of some form.I was not insinuating like I earlier said your dogs dont have balls of steel.Up to the time I pm'd you I never knew there was a working strain of E/B's about.Great to know someone is working hard and I can appreciate the expense you must suffer for your passion, the terriers cost enough to keep going. The only useless bulls I go on about are the MODERN type, yours do NOT fit into this category. The english bulls they used in the dogo etc are not even remotely related to the modern disaster that is the ,,english bull KC standard''I never implied anything of your dogs,in fact im very excited at the fact that someones trying to sort out the mess the breed is in.GREAT CREDIT FOR YOUR EFFORTS.Why you seemed to have taken a slight on my remarks I cant understand as if you read the last line of my last post it explains it wasnt aimed at you.AGAIN WELL DONE FOR YOUR EFFORTS AND KEEP IT TO A DISCUSSION AND NOT AN ARGUMENT,we have enough of them going on here without joining in.When I had the english bull I did enquire as to where I might get a stud dog for her,the older dog men didnt know anyone that had them,so rather than spend valuable time searching for a dog I went the way of ths staff.I kept 4 english bulls after that and not 1 ever made the grade, all unrelated and equally useless.I came to the conclusion I was flogging a dead horse at the time, rightly or wrongly.I have to say that the best working terriers I had at the time were half bred english bulls I bred from my bitch. Anyway best wishes to you and all those that strive to improve the breed.JIGSAW my last statement was not aimed at you 'jigsaw',i was talking in general so to speak.now't personal. Quote Link to post
