Just made a call to someone advertising that they found a ferret in an area i know a few people who own them, i just rang asking if he wanted to give me a description of it so i could spread the word so the beggar could be found, but for some ungodly reason, he wont say what colour sex, or anything about the ferret, unless the person had actually lost it and told him what the ferret they lost was like. So, as i told him i didnt want to steal this ferret and was just trying to help find it the home but people like that piss me off. I tried to explain that noone would want to nick a lost ferret as its easy as chips to pick em up free in the paper. So if anyone in egloshayle road, wadebridge lost a ferret, i doubt you will ever get it back if that old codger has the bloody thing

The idea is you ring him & describe your lost ferret if he has advertised then the words being spread as you saw the advert so its possible the rightfull owner has seen it

I take my hat off to the guy, he just wants whats best for the ferret, if I ever found one and someone rung me up about it I would want a full description of it not a helper in finding it, I know you wanted to help find it and fair play but when you get older you will realise why he did it, even if you can pick them up cheap as chips.

I think the man was bieng quite sensible in the sense that someone could have called and said, "Whats the coulour of the ferret mate" to which an unexperienced person would reply "White" then that person could have said "Ooh, thats mine!" even though it was not his, but either way you were trying to help lad so good on ya.
