It either has, or is about to be abolished. I cant quickly think of any exceptions to this general rule. The vehicle manufacturers fitted mediocre equipment, made it bespoke, and charged like rhinos for it. Most main dealers will run a mile from them. Most independant LPG converters are limited in what they can do to repair these systems. Just dont buy it. Find the vehicle that you want with a decent aftermarket kit fitted, or have one converted with quality kit, and you will be fine. I've lost count of the number of manufacturer fitted LPG kits that we have removed and replaced with either Tartarini or Lovato sequential kit. webber Quote Link to post Share on other sites

In that time only one customer has been quoted a marginally higher premium by his insurer when he advised them that he had converted his vehicle.
