Surely the final should be run on neutral ground: ground that neither dog knows?

I was speaking to TOMO earlier on the phone and it got us thinking about when you lads will end up running the final and i was saying to TOMO that if and when all the heats are ran and possibly after several heats have been ran over the same ground will there be a surplus of rabbits to be ran so late in the season? We know no-one can predict on any given night rabbit numbers but surely if the competition final was to be ran on already hard hit lamping ground and the final was settled by a low scoring event,wouldn't that make a bit of a mockery of the whole thing? I mentioned to Tomo,perhaps a neutral who has plenty of rabbit laden permission could forfeit some land for the final? It was just a thought,as i'm sure whoever makes the final would like to see it a good test for theirs and their opponents dog? Cheers Andy.

Id say Woodga can guarentee a plentiful supply or rabbits when conditions are favourable

unless say mark and tomo get to the final [b]are[/b] will it be fixed as they meet before,are wh and scouser surely they could have there final on tomos are marks why travel all the way up there

How will the semi finals be drawn LDR? Is it down the card or will it depend on who gets through?

 

 

It'll be sorted amongst the people in it mate!!

 

If it goes down the card, i'll be accused of fixing it, in fact whatever way its matched, i'll be accused of fixing it, so the people who are in it, will make a group decision of how its done!!!

you should of went down the card from day 1 and you you wouldnt have had this problem

i support this competion 100% and well done to longdogrunner for putting the time and effort into it,what i didnt support was the attempted banning of mark and the way the 2nd heats were drawn,i made that clear whats your problem?????????it still can be a good competion and i for one hope it is

Rabbiteer, (or Mark), you've said on numerous occasions that the comp is a fix or going to be fixed, your oppinion, (and grammar !!!), changes with whichever one of you is posting at the time !!! I made it clear that I THOUGHT the second rounds would be down the card, but would accept any decisions the organisors made !! I won't be replying again, as I like to know whom I'm talking to !!

CP said right from the start it should've gone down the card when i first told him how the draws were gonna be, so how has he got his head up my arse???? The only difference is he said it was my call as i was organising it!!!!! But like i said to him and all the others, this is how the majority wanted it!!!! But lets not go over old ground and drag another thread down, with an old arguement eh!!!

 

Next year will be different, we knew there'd be teething problems and they'll all be sorted out for next time, the heats will be drawn differently and ran differently, but till we get together and sit down and sort them out, this is the way it'll be!!!

 

Markbrick has opted for it to go down the card for the semis and all other competitiors will get the chance to air their view on how they want it done!!!

Those of you who havent been around that long probably dont realise its been tried several times to get THL lamping comps organised, this is the first time its actually came to fruition, please folks give LDR a break, hes doing his best if it wasnt for him organising it all there wouldnt be a comp so cut him a bit of slack, or it will be the first and last comp due to moaners ruining it It would be good if it could be a yearly event, the first one is always going to have teething problems, but cant youse all pull together in the spirit of things and work things through? And people who arent in the comp should butt the hell out and leave it to those who are to sort it - good luck to all I look forward to seeing who wins
