well today i got home went inside made myself a bacon sandwhich and sat down on the sofa i tucked into it and then went to check the pugs :)

anyway i opened the shed door and the two polecats came straght too me i pt the food in the bowl and topped up the water and whisteled the third one.... no reply.... whistled again nothing...... :o at this moment i was thinking either sleeping dead or gone..... so i looked and looked turned the blooming shed upside down and then i found a tiny scratched hole straight through the floor.... :o "shit.... BOLLOCKS!!...... HOW THE f**k DID THAT HAPPEN!?!?!" :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :censored: so i quickly put a brick over the hole and searched the immediet surroundings.... to no avail  went in to ask my sister if shes seen anything  so went back out and walked around the shed looking under the floor when the ferret pokes her head out under   :tongue2: :tongue2: :bye: bloodey thing my heart lept  scooped her up and put her back inside she went back too the hole and scratched a bit at the brick so went inside and got a peice of thin steel and screwed it down over the hole.... there bloodey sly creatures.... but very odd must have been out ages as i didnt see her in the morning either but i assumed she was having a lie in.... dont know why she didnt run off.... :bye:

Lol,my hob escaped one time and ended up visiting one of the neighbours as she was lying in the bath :icon_redface:

Its a good idea to let the neighbours know that you have stinkers, that way if they go wandering theres a better chance of you getting them back.

i had a similar problem a few months back, my smaller jill managed to pull the corner of the mesh off the hutch, i came home and she was gone but my larger jill was sleeping, i got the fox call out and sat there making that annoying noise for half an hour and she climbed back over the wall! haha i was over the moon!

I cleaned mine out this morning, closed everything up, went in doors, made a cup of tea, looked out the window, thought 'what's the pup up to?' then realised she was playing with my jill. They were frolicking about in the snow, looked really sweet! I hadn't even noticed she'd got out :icon_redface:

Well here's what happened to me last week,i have been looking after a acd bitch for a pal and she has a litter of pups on her,she has been fine with my ferrets and although very keen with my chickens has never really bothered them.I went outside to lock her in for the night to find one of my stags standing by my back door,i grabed a tourch and had a shine about the garden only to see a few more chickens lying around the said garden. In my chicken run was my white jill ferret getting stuck into my cockrel who was well done in allready,I grabed her up and found a rather dog sized hole in the side of y ferret court and my other ferrets missing, one was outside the court so i had 2 more to find and a pile of dead or dying chickens to clear up.I spent the night walking round looking over the neighbours hedges looking for them with no luck,i set a few live catch traps (useing fresh chicken heads) hoping they will be in them by morning. They weren't,i used my terriers to try to find them all to no avail, later the next evening i looked out the window to see my old hob ambling across the patio,1 more to find. The next day i saw the acd looking keen at the base of the shed attached to my court,i ran outside and a little black and white face peeped back at me so out with one of the dead chickens and drew her out.Have had to put my ferrets into hutches for now and am useing the ferret court as a puppy run,all ferrets back home but have lost my best chooks, left with 2 stags and 1 hen  checked everywhere for them and they weren't around anywhere, wonder where they went for the time they were out?.
