OldNog 432
Have many people ever found foxes holding up in wet places such as marhes, bogs, wet woods? I remember seeing a thread on here a while back last year about someones day out and they were digging an earth on a real wet looking place Quote Link to post

neil cooney 10,416
Foxes love bogs and marshy places. Plenty of picking for them and they'll find a raised sod to make their bed. IMO when you find a fox to ground in a wet spot though it's because you've unknowingly put him to ground. Quote Link to post

skycat 6,174
I once had a fox fur coat: long time ago before antis were likely to throw paint at you for wearing fur: that coat was waterproof, windproof and once spent hours lying on a wet road in the middle of winter under a car when trying to fix a fan belt with a pair of tights LOL: Just brushed the sh*t off it and let it dry and it was as good as new! One of the finest pelts known to animals I reckon. Quote Link to post
