i lived in birkdale a long time used to run the long ears around here for 20 yrs plus

back when i lived with the folks there still in ainsdale i had the shooting on all the golf course's and formby hall when it was still falling down and quite a bit out at banks

yer leyland isnt really that bad, not many places to run the dogs no more, and for warden park?? you would have to be mad lol, im just trying to find a few people to go out for a bit of a mooch with, my pup aint old enough yet but i love getting out and watching dogs work, cheers karl

Maybe people are waiting to see a pic pf karl 20 first before making a move??? I quite often see an older fella with a beard and two salukis round Lostock when I am going to / coming back from work. Looks dressed for a mooch most times

thats not me mate but i have seen him nice looking dogs he has aswell, if you look under the faces to names section you will see me, orange shirt, im 21 and from leyland

I often wonder where he is heading round there. There is quite a bit of land round the Leyland / Farington end of Lostock so maybe there. I wondered if it might be someone off here.

not sure mate, like you say there is a lot of land round there but you never see him with any rabbits ? either he just likes the breed or his dogs are crap lol

Not seen him with any but that doesn't mean he has not got any. I don't usually get chance to look as I am going past late for work / late getting home. He looks like he is going for a mooch or on his way back. I will stop and ask one day.

I'm not far off Preston but thankfully not in it

 

 

 

used to be a quaint little country village did leyland cotton mills. B T R. rubber. leyland motors. the old test track held a few bunnies. oh and dont forget leyland paints used to punch above its weight did leyland . had to walk to chorley to go swimming. and chorley market was a day out

 

My dad worked for Leyland motors for over 25 years and managed to get through a couple of the redundancies and then they shat on him.
