woz 260
disco everyday.as said bits are readily availible and cheap,30+ mpg..jap stuff is expensive for bits........................
landy 0
Got to be a Disco
lucky 578
i'd go for a japanese motor everytime, a lot more reliable than the glorified "sherpas" that is the discovery..... for jap parts use "milner off road" there very cheap....
mikecat1 0
i wouldnt go for a freelander there a pile of sh*t, the disco is good on flatish land but for off road it has to be a jap. i had the v8 disco before my pajero and it wouldnt go anywhere in the wet. on the road the disco would leave my pajero standing and good on fuel, if you dont mind that the pajero is my first choice. i bought a jap inport 3 years ago and when cleaned out its still as new, 3 mots and never spent a penny on it. good luck and go and try them for yourself

TOPPER 1,809
there all crap but a 300tdi disco is cheaper on bits are theres plenty about
woz 260
i wouldnt touch a pejaro,i have had two in this year both that have dropped valve seats!!! and its cost well over £1000 to put right and changing an engine in one can only be described as an arse to do...........stick with a disco, they are very very good offroad.(if you can drive)
