lurchergrrl 1,441
Bloody HELL it's freezing out there this morning. But, needs must ... dog must be walked even if I don't have my thermal knickers on Frost makes for a good back drop tho. Just a couple of quick snaps. Looking for bunnies I wonder if she knows she's striking a pose? Britian's Next Top Model Don't know how she sees owt with her crazy lugs flapping around all over the show Right, cold now - let's go! Get home and the gas is off, had to call an engineer out. So while I sit here shivering, got to keep the lady of the manor cozy .... They'd better hurry up and fix whatever is wrong, my hands are numb with cold

lurchergrrl 1,441
Thanks again you guys She is a lovely dog, and her temperment matches her looks. She's only 1yr old, but she's got everything you could want in a companion. That spot I took her to this morning used to be jammed with cover but they've come along and cut the lot of it back. Saw a little black bunny first thing but it went up a hill to cover so I didn't slip her - thought she was going to pull my arm out of the socket Sure if she could talk she would've called me several bad names. Yes Undie frost makes for easy poo picking ... but the chicken shit freezes into miniature ice rinks and I nearly broke my neck slipping on one this afternoon Still no bloody engineer for the heating and now I'm more than a bit pissed off. At least the dog is warm

At least the dog is warm have to agree with the poo picking as for my chickens, poor sods have been wallowing in 4 inches of mud once the frost thaws, all the bloody rain we have had over the last month. Tried everything, turning it over,spiking,hay/straw even a good layer of leaves was thrown down the other day...still ain't helped none . Nice looking mutt you have there, nice long legs.. Well I've only got the two chickens Crafty, and they've got the entire back garden to decimate - I've not got a proper coop and run yet (they live in wendy house ). I'll have to contain them once the spring comes tho. Between the chickens and the dog my back garden is starting to resemble a mud bath. Yer the mutt is a looker, lots of spring in those legs of hers. Broomer bred her - he breeds good dogs does Broomer
