Was sitting thinking about the guys who have been fortunate to own some of the best match dogs and who have perhaps made some serious money from thier top dogs and was wondering do you think it's the way the dogs bred that made it of the way its been trained and entered thats made it?

 

or a bit of both?

you cant put whats not already there , and you also need to be able to get the best out of the animal..so good breeding plus a good dog man should = a good dog

Definitely both: you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, but many a fool has ruined a decent bred dog as well: cuts both ways.
