shell 42
Nice dogs! Look like they'd be able to cope with the country we hunt. Not after out and out speed machines, just something durable. Thanks for showing us! Shell Quote Link to post

Cheers mate, black one veteran stage now, 9 in January, pup doing ok, 11 months now, been out 3 times had about 20 rabbits, waiting for ground to soften to get her out again, if its not flooded its bleeding freezing, but slowly, slowly does it, get her going well this season, train her up and should be good for next season. Keep us informed on the pups. Quote Link to post

Don't say that mate, don't know what the future may bring for him unless he's been snipped?.Proven working x that mate and a good addition to any lurcher line. Why did someone want to add bull to a x like that?,ruined a good cross if you ask me,not needed in this cross as far as i can see.I'm swaying towards that dog pup now, bold as brass he is and aint afraid of anything, first out in the morning, first to feed, first little bugger to bite my foot yesterday ,going to definetly hold 2 back for a bit longer to make my mind up.Mind the misses is putting her foot down on only keeping one back for good .Glad to have a problem in choice though, there all so bloody good . Sounds like the bold dog will a handful, may be strong willed and need controlling, they can cock a deaf ear if allowed, but if entered correctly and well trained will be hell of an animal. Think on I have found the more cattle doggy type with more drive, but all should be good. Depends what you want yourself. All the best. Yes I have seen the crosses with bull in and i feel all they have done is reduce brain. But horses for courses. Quote Link to post
