Then keep your eyes and ears open, if you're not sure about them take someone along who's had or better still got lurchers to look with you........ Quote Link to post

If I was you and the fact you are that inexperianced you need to ask the question in the first place, I'd take along someone you trust and in the know. All pups are a pain but older dogs aren't always the best solution. That's not to say you can't get a decent older dog for sale. A lot of owners wouldn't know a good dog if they seen one and the rate some of them go through dogs they are bound to let the odd good un slip through. But it is a big risk. Quote Link to post
