kobidog 1
Ive been training a 6 year old hungarian vizsla to retrieve shot game like pheasants, rabbits etc. I have been told to put pheasant wings on the dummy and i have found freeze dried wings on the internet, Can i use wings just cut from a shot pheasant or will it rot and go smelly?. Do i just tye these to the dummy along with a few feathers? I am also going to tie rabbit skins to the dummy as well but wont they go smelly? thanks Greg Edited November 30, 2008 by kobidog Quote Link to post

Rabbit skins are good too. I have never noticed them going smelly but if they do just change them for new ones! Quote Link to post
withnellmoor 0
If they go smelly mate change them..I've used road kill when I'm short of wings etc..use elastic bands..insulation tape works well...Quest supply cured rabbit skins Regards Kev Quote Link to post
