Why did the judge overturn it ? Has anyone got the link to the video ?
bootneck 0
Ello ello, what's all this hear then, people getting agitated?? I know lots of old bill and truly I do wonder if some of them got bullied at school and still do when they go home to they're other halfs. Iv'e seen them go over the top when in a confrontation, usually like the rest of us through fear and no matter what kit ythey have got, how much training and how many of them there are, when some t**t is going ape, drugged or pi**ed up and threatening to rip your head off your shoulders and s**t down your neck and means it, they like us tend to get a little bit excited, something bout wanting to go home in one piece that night! There are amongst them the odd psycho, as they reflect the community or population they serve, however i would contend is it extremley rare for them to instigate a fight. No they normally respond to an event and it's the other party who wants to make something of it and when they get hurt or humiliated they cry foul, complain or bleet to all and sundry how there were loads of them against one!! So this ex squaddie (and i'm one) got what he deserved, you bite a leg then expect to suffer, if I was on the recieiving end I wold be thinking only about the pain but Hepititus B or C for starters. Can you imagine him doing that to some geezer in a pub fight and being able to walk afterwards certainly wouldn't if he did it to me. So those who think the old bill were over the top, think about how you would have reacted, would you have left him bleeding in the street after a beating or restrained and in a fit state to complain about his experience. I suspect the former and not the latter! No, not perfect, but having travelled a reasonable amount believe you me our cops still take some beating (excuse the pun)

bootneck 0
Yep I ave, if it's the scouse teams your referring to and again without wishing to get into an arguement, the level of criminality they would normally deal with would again give them cause to believe they can't afford to take chances and if it means meeting force with equal or greater force I think I can understand why they might appear to be aggresive. Your first question. The answer is a NO not a PCSO.... When these coppers are in a situation like that thing you call a "soilder", unless they are already aware of him, know him from past experiances, they would not know if he had any warning markers etc......... To do this you would need his name, dob to PNC the chap. If he is known then the information would be disclosed to the officers. However, times like this you dont have the chance to or would chance it, espeacially if he has threatened you in some way etc...... which this chap might of done. If back up was called it would of looked more shocking!!!! I know alot of police officers who do sooo much for our sport, countryside pal. And a good job too...... I respect our police, couldn't do the job mind you, i'll stick to my gas powered truck!

Maltenby, I like to have a laugh, debate, what ever you want to call it. I hunt like 95% of us on here do. I take my sport very seriously, i may not post pic's of what my dogs catch or what i snare, shoot, but thats my SAFE decision to do so. I will put my views across, and i will take and give advice if and when needed. Edited December 1, 2008 by artic
