cyclonebri1 8
As said, what price to get a .22 done, actually any other calibre I would expect. (slightly ulterior motive as I have just had mine done so may have a good contact or have been ripped off) Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
I have a personal contact who will do it for £50 all in...VERY GOOD! But doing it through a dealer (without proof) £100 would be pretty fair!! Quote Link to post
cbw 4
There is a local 'old boy' that was sugested to me, on talking to him at his workshop he said he would do it for a bottle of scotch. I think he would probably have done a good job but I had just paid £1100 for my rifle so sought some more advice!!!!! I paid £200 inc ASE utra mod and proofing, which at the time I thought was bloody expensive, but now hearing some of the horror stories I am glad I took the advice and used the gun smith I did. woz 260
i had my cz's done for £40 each..i know a pro custom builder that will do them for £90.........all without proofing...if your rifles aint proofed you can only sell to a dealer without proof...at the end of the day you are messing about with somthing that has to stand very high pressure and is it worth pissing about and penny pinching over your own safety??????
