Guest 3:16
its foolhardy to run an infant in events like this. thats my opinion. if it was an adult i'd have been the first to say well done its your dog. so its your call. but a warning to the younger or less experianced . DONT RISK SUCH A PROMISING PUP . THE REWARD IS'NT WORTH IT totally agree nice looking pups markbrick but why the haste? why risk their muscles and tendons at such a tender age when they are lets face it, less than half developed? if you cant see that pup is just a baby from looking at its pic as I can, then you need to get yourself down spec savers mate and their bones! They`re still developing up unto 16 monthish Quote Link to post
Guest markbrick1
AGAIN and again i agree with your comments just got in after taking the dogs for a walk and again theyve run longer and harder chasing each other i suppose some of you wouldnt have them of there leads???? the reason she won the simulated wasnt due to her speed it was her obsevation and training . regards mark Quote Link to post

socks 32,253
you have stated that obsrvation and training was the reason the pup won ... i have asked a reasonable question ... are you going to answer ??? Quote Link to post
Kane 2
You might as well run the c**t out of it at lure chasing competitions, because it sure dont look like its going to be anygood for f**k all else. What is it a x of for 5 months old it looks like a midget of a lurcher. It might well of beaten adult dogs chasing a rag across some grass wouldnt mind seeing it against the same dogs across heavy plough. Quote Link to post
Guest markbrick1
you have stated that obsrvation and training was the reason the pup won ... i have asked a reasonable question ... are you going to answer ??? ok obsevation she was born with this and keenness to chase training is the part were i spend a lot of time with her and her sister leting them watch the older dogs chase and catch if i told u that i never teach my pups retreivin but both will catch and retrieve to hand i know u wont beleave me so here we go if you are anon beleaver and you think iam spinnin a yawn you are welcome to come to my place and see as iam sure you lot think the simulated winning is a lie to now you lot tell me why you think she won and like i say it wasnt shit competion You might as well run the c**t out of it at lure chasing competitions, because it sure dont look like its going to be anygood for f**k all else. What is it a x of for 5 months old it looks like a midget of a lurcher. It might well of beaten adult dogs chasing a rag across some grass wouldnt mind seeing it against the same dogs across heavy plough. didnt run the c..t out of it and wouldnt even dream of runin her over plough fields with a nother dog but i would with my adult dog Quote Link to post
Guest mush
think of it like this socks, what makes a good fen hare coursing lurcher better than a greyhound with two or three times the speed ?. Quote Link to post

MARK not once have i said i dont believe you and i have said well done to your win but it isnt for me .... you stated it was the training you have put in that enabled the dog to win .... i merely asked what was this training you could have given such a young dog to enable it to win .... a question you still realy havnt answered Quote Link to post

PURSUING ITS QUARRY now hoooow would i teach it that so why did she win 2 days on a run so young over 20 races and won every one ?????? Quote Link to post
socks 32,253
fair enough keep dodging the question by asking questions .... i realy dont care i only wanted the youngsters on this board to realise that its not an everyday thing to enter 5 month old pups in a coursing comp ..........
