I am using straw at the min and wanted to no if there is any better types on the market, My ferret lives in my garage just want to make sure she will be warm.

 

ive always found shredded paper the better option mate im not saying its the best im just saying in the summer it doesnt get too hot unlike hay and theres alot less dust with it so doesnt get the little critters coughing and going,also ask around a few people who work in offices and its free

hi guys ive always used old jumper or t-shirt(celtic t-shirt though lol there tims hahahaha) but winter its 2 thick jumpers and they never throw them out they love them

2 inches of shavings, and a big handfull of hay, let them get on with it, I get a haystack for £2, lasts ages, and it hides my cage cleanings in the green wheelie bin.

In winter I use this great stuff from B & Q. Its loft insulation made from recycled bottles. V cosy and non itchy. It's half price at the mo and a roll lasts for ever. Just bin it when it gets smelly. Give it a go they'll love it.
