steviebhoy 0
up on the shoot on saturday one of the lads l200 (52 plate) got bogged down and it would not move conditions were very bad mind but what i found to be a problem was when trying to push it out the panels on the rear were flexing terrible, to the point were i thought they were going to crease. ended up using a jcb to pull it out, one thing i was impressedd with was the strength of the rear tubular bumber as the motor did not have a tow bar/eyes fitted we endud up putting the strops on the bumper and it never budged. the motors certainly look the bizz and the rear cab is a good size, one thing to remember is though get a decent set of tyres on it especially if going in the good stuff. a little bit of road noise and less mpg is a small price to pay john Spot on the tyres are the main part mate. I go for the B F Goodrich Mud Terrains everytime- 50000 miles you get out of them, no road noise and the biz of road.
Brimmer 220
Yep old mans is pretty good, it's a 52 plater, with an alpha back. Also BFG'd. Even he hasn't been stuck!(YET) Only downside is when they go wrong, just simple specialist knuts and bolts cost a fortune, and nothing else fits. Would like to try out a D4 hilux, i rekon they could be good!
DDD 4
The majority of the bolts on the Mitsy's are metric fine, at a push & if you're stuck you could get away with using UNF. Failing that get a good wire thread insert kit, especially for the sump guards when servicing.
reynardhunter 3
i have had mine a few months now, have to say its a great motor, the only thing i would knock it for is the actual wheel lock is pretty bad in a tight spot, otherwise, top marks
Ali N 0
I have just spent the last few weeks driving the old shape and the new shape. The old one was an absolute shed. I have never driven anything as un comfy. There was no room in the back, the steering was like driving an old gray fergie, it was crap. The new shape one however was comfy, pretty quick of the mark, plenty of space and I am thinking about buying one. The only bad thing was the top of my rig boot kept popping the fuel cap open
