harvey-the-lab 0
how do i stop my lab from running off into the distance? he's a good dog and retrieves anything (except crows), the problem is that the mut thinks its a spaniel and will hunt hard in thick cover and eventually be 200 yards before i know it. will an electric collar sort the problem? withnellmoor 0
No need for e collar mate..Go back a bit with the training and refresh the stop and recall in an area with no game and then slowly introduce him to a more gamey area's...if hes got 200yds away from you hunting he's ignored the whistle for 180yds??? Also work on steadiness also..possibly its a bit to much to soon.. Regards Kev Quote Link to post
