i was told something about that from a bloke at work, do you know where abouts? and im with you about the water quality, but is it not just the bottom next to attenborough where the water goes crap?

The grayling were stocked at Toton as for it just being attenbourgh where its "shitty" its the whole length bud theres 3 sewage works on the river one at Trowell, Eastwood and i think 1 further upstream towards its source in Pinxton, but there are trout in the nutt brook which runs through Stanton iron works :-p

ill have to get upto toton and if some of the fish survive then i suppose the water must be ok although i certanly wont be munching on them :sick:

the ribble, top barbel and chub and stick float fishing. heapys lodges for carp and pike

the ouse at ely cambridgshire does it for me some very good zander from that stretch

think my favourite place ive fished is yateley match lake some cracking carp and decent size cats too

went out at 9.30 to have a bash at chub on my local canal, gets there and theres a match on, didnt get to take my gear out of the car.

Mines the rivers dove and teme, followed by the Leeds Liverpool at maghull.

Any place thats a bit wild and overgrown.........absolutely no time at all for so called "commercial" fisherys!!
