Favourite coarse venue

River Thames,from Hampton Court up to Maidenhead,long stretch but so many decent places to fish,I prefer targeting trout however,and the best river for those is the test,great fishing,and packed with good sized brownies and grayling.

river WYE it was prob the best salmon river in the country ,now it is opening up to course fishing ,it holds just about every spieces of course fish in good numbers and very big specimen fish . and it is on my door step.

my favourite is the broom fisheries at dumfries and galloway you catch tench bream chub all kinds of carp roach barbel and is also trout fishing aswell and i also work there and im allowed to ferret there theirs hundreds of rabbits running around

river teme or river dane both have shown to have decent sized fish, plenty of places to fish

 

I agree mate the Teme or my local Ribble for the owd barbel. No better places on earth when old whiskers is on the munch.

Faviurite river has to be the might Trent all things to all men as Archie Braddock says! Closely followed by the Erewash still to get that first barbel though! Kingfisher you'll be pleased to know that the erewash was recently stocked with its 1st grayling yr old fish kindly donated by the ea.
