Mine's the River Anker at Shuttington Bridge, plenty of bream, tench, and pike and carp, though I've never caught the last two.... favourite commercial is The Riddings, at Grendon. So what's yours? mackem 26,720 Posted November 27, 2008 Report Share Posted November 27, 2008 River Thames,from Hampton Court up to Maidenhead,long stretch but so many decent places to fish,I prefer targeting trout however,and the best river for those is the test,great fishing,and packed with good sized brownies and grayling. Closely followed by the Erewash still to get that first barbel though!
