ferret boy charlie 0
Its things like this which make me so proud, to be associated with some of the poeple from these forums. To be honest when the comp was first discussed i thought it was a bad idea, knowing how competative people can be my thoughts were...'It'll end in tears' Woodga has welcomed a stranger into his home, not only for the competition but has provided some of the best rabbiting sport for the lad and his dog....something he did not need to do. People will not realise but Colin had a very nasty fall a couple of days ago, fell 25ft over a cliff into a stream, he was so badly hurt on nearly every part of his body he had to go to hospital where they wanted to keep him in. But he steadfastly refused to to back down on his promises to the lad for Wed nights lamping, a day out all day today ferreting and the lamping comp on fri night. Plus the generosity of the people giving up their time to attend and judge these competition nights. You make me proud. same here hippychick hope woodga recovers ok Quote Link to post

Guest world.hunters
Cheers lads its been a good couple days and im looking forward to tomorrows match, from last nights performance i wouldnt like to pick a better dog so says woodga aswell, but its not about the winning at the end of the night iv, iv made some life time friendships and thank woodga again for the sport. Today went well in my eyes (woodga says that it wasnt a good day in comparismant to normal numbers) but the heavens opened up and stayed raining on and off all day. we didnt do much ferreting mainly just mooching round with the terriers and woodgas other lurcher and ended up with 20 rabbits. and at the end of the day i had took 620 photos lol i will do a full right up when i get back and add the photos once they have been editied W.h Edited November 27, 2008 by world.hunters Quote Link to post
