Like realdeal says

Get yourself fit. Or you will be Fooked before you start. If its what you really want to do then you will find the strengh to acomplish it. But if its a half hearted dicision because theres no other option then you will find yourself back to square one. Sappers are brave fookers, They have to get on with it even under fire and i have a lot of respect for them even no para would openly admit it. Am i not right realdeal ;)

They have their uses lol

im in the army, have done over 10 years, keep your mind open young man, if you can be an electrician then have you thought about becoming a electronics technician in the REME? one of the fastest promotion in the army, you'll be a sgt on over 30k after 4 years finishing your trade. you'll get a HND in electronics maint and design. when you leave you'll have company's throwing jobs at you that pay HUGE money. i wish i applied myself alittle more at school, cause thats the route i would of taken. these have been some of the best years of my life, just remember to take the rough with the smooth, the shit times dont last in the memory but the good times will last with you forever.

hello mate

im an instructor at gibralter barracks (minley) i teach phase 2 royal engineers and would advise anyone to join, especially with the unemployment rate like it is.

Im an electrician by trade and while the course isnt easy i enjoyed every day of it and have a trade for life.

Also assuming that you use this site because you hunt, at gibralter barracks we have minley shoot. For 200 quid you get 12 months of pheasant, pigeon, duck and dear stalking as well as vermin.

if you want any more info on the engineers let me know

all the best

Danny
