tried both mods out today and the p8 was much louder than the t8 so it has to be the t8

i coudnt agree more mate i have a p8 on my 25-06. and i hate it it only makes a slight differance on sound. i shot one with a t8on and it was so much bettr.

 

I have to agree with Sniper 1 on this. I also have a Predator 8 only Sako Finnlight 25-06, and in all honesty it is still loud. I shot a Sauer 25-06 with a T8 on it and it really was alot quiter.

 

Having said this I really do like my Predator 8. It looks the dogs and is fully stripable. I originally had the mod to reduce recoil, and it certainly does that. I have a T8 on my Sako .223 and it is really quiet. I need this rifle to be as quiet as possible, especially when shooting in farm yards in the middle of the night! I have seen a few 'commission' rifles with T8's on that have rotted through, but those boys really do use and abuse their rifles. If my T8 does eventually rot through I'll buy a new one, it costs me as much each year to tax my truck to drive on bumpy roads as what a new mod costs!
