moxy 617
On my rounds today and happened upon a rabbit, sat out in plain sight, around 50 yds away and with no cover.Showing me all of its left side. An opportunity not to pass up i thought. Raised my rifle and slowly made up 10 yds, didnt budge an inch. Did another 5, still not looking as it was going to make a bid for freedom. It just scrunched up and sat down further into its seat, perhaps thinking i hadnt noticed it and feeling comfortable blending into the bare brown mud it was sat on. Decided i wasnt going to approach any further, i took my shot. With a kick and a twitch it rolled over onto its side, revealing its white underside. As i walked towards, my attention was drawn away from the white fur on its underside. The closer i got the more my mind boggled as to what the hell i was looking at, something didnt look right. You will see below why. Probably a good reason for it not running off, this thing was the size of its head. In comparrison id say about the size of an apple. Needless to say, this one didnt go for the pot. Just thought i would share
Guest buster321c
Not seen anything like that before Moxy , did you look to see if it was the teeth that caused it ? atb Buster
moxy 617
No mate, i dont think it was the teeth unless its the back ones, more the neck. Its in the back of the van waiting to be disposed of. I may have a little poke about tommorow.
stubby 175
have seen a few rabbits with abcesses, but never that big, you probably did the most humane thing for it,

The rest of the rabbits body looked to be in good order, it was a good size and weight and had a good thick coat. Poor bugger
