The sandy coloured dog of Manipulus looks like one i saw this year in the french alps, they are used a lot there, i chatted with the owner in my broken french,

How did you break your french? bit careless of you!!

 

 

It was broken as it came out of my mouth must have chipped it with my teeth or something

 

I can speak and understand enough french to chat about hunting and thats what i did at every opportunity! The old boy was happy to chat back to the jibbering English man! it was the international language of hunting!

i've seen video from sweden with teckles working fox and badger below ground and getting dug to. defo seem to be an excellent little dog.

They maybe good little dog for bushing /tracking etc but for real earth work i dout it they always seem to be doubled up no offence

if i was after a digging dog i'd go for a terrier alright but as an all rounder i think they'd handy. something with voice that will hunt a trail like a hound and will follow a fox to ground and work thick cover something tempting about that. i'd defo consider one in the future.

cant see justification in charging or paying that much for a dog. thats besides the point. your dogs look like good sport fair play to you. get some more pics up.

i do like the sound of these little hounds are thay fast when working cover/earth are thay easy to follow for rought shootin/trackin and are thay all vocal .

go to utube and watch clips of them hunting. some good clips of them working deer etc..
