Air Arms S200 0
Im thinking of getting a new scope, but i need a bit of help. The Scope's i had in mind were an MTC Viper, which will be put on a .22 Rimfire which i have almost finished my probation. The only problem is im not sure on which Mag to get on the scope, as i have 3 choices: 1. 3-12X44IR (Silver if possible) 2. 4-16X50IR 3. 6-24X56IR And this is for target shooting only which is a 50/100 Yard field. Please will you give your opinions and tell me why. Thanks. Quote Link to post

Scopes become very personal and what you should get is what YOU want/need ..not what anyone else says.....what are you using at the moment....does that not give you some idea what to get??? ....and why IR...you target shooting in the dark???? Thanks. 1st of all i suggest you put this post into (Reloading, Optics, Ammunition & Accessories),you will have a bit more feedback.2nd i assume you mean a 22 Lr but there are a couple more 22 rimfire types out there that each shoot different distance. As for the scopes,if your not shooting anywhere past 100yards then i would go for the 4-16x50.You wont need to zoom as far out as 24 because it will look blurred so i think going for something in the middle would be a good idea.Hope iv helped you out a bit! Air Arms S200 0
No mate im just getting into .22 Rimfires, and the scope i have on my air rifle isnt the best as its one of those M.A.P and i just don't get on with it, and as for the Iluminate Reticle i don't need it no, but i think it comes with it anyways. Thanks. Quote Link to post

Mr_Logic 5
For daylight target shooting, forget MTC. Falcon Optics do the Menace in various magnifications which is better since the adjustments are more reliable, my MTC hasn't been perfect, my Falcon has. Optically they are similar too. 10x should be enough at that range, so the Menace 10x42 will do you. Failing that Bushnell Elite 3200 10x40 is a good scope too. Quote Link to post

Ive heard good thing about the Bushnell 4200 aswell, which im also looking into, and will the set 10x mag be enough for a 100 yard competion? and i know that im not going to get the best optics for £300 but like i said it's for a .22 lr. Thanks. Quote Link to post
