Turf advice and laying instructions.

What's the best turf for a garden that gets played on by 3 kids and daddy? Should I rotavate the soil before laying, anyone know of cheap places in the north west to buy turf and is there any agri students who might want to earn a few quid in the northwest? (Jayo?)

type in turflands on google <sorry i dont know how to put links up>they do several grades ..pick the hard wearing ones with a high percentage of rye grass.you will have to prepare the site .if they go onto there website they give recomendations of what to do..hope this is helpful....if you want advice pm me.i have used turflands many times and the turf is always top quality.try and get the turf grown in southport ..its better stuff grown on peaty soil so it is lighter and easier to work with.

Cheers guys, Gnipper, pm me your number again, I have changed phones.

Also, I want a small garden fence around the new turf to keep the bitch off, it dosn't have to be strong or anything, it's just as a boundary for the mutt. Do you do owt like that at your place Gnipper?

Jay, I'm in Preston.
