hi does any one get there lurchers ears tatooed . i can see a lot of dogs getting nicked with times getting hard

I tattoo all of my dogs, terriers ,lurchers, if the mrs would stay still long enough she'd have one as well !!!

Theres a thread on here about freeze branding , ears can be cut off & microchips removed so i think to someone determind to get your dogs no matter what you use as identity they will overcome what measures you already have in place

 

But i think the freeze branding idea would be the best out of the 3

aye myne are microchipped but i would have thought tatooing would be a good idea as a visual deterant to thiefs
